Department of Agriculture, Nevada Grants Permission to Cannabis Science Inc (OTCMKTS:CBIS) Consortium for Industrial Hemp Research Project

The consortium consisting of Cannabis Science Inc (OTCMKTS:CBIS),  HRM Farms and FSO NAC, and American State University has obtained permission from the Department of Agriculture in Nevada for its industrial hemp research project based in Nevada. The 40 acre R&D project, which is based in Lincoln County, Nevada, will focus on arthritis, chronic pain, PTSD, cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, HIV/ AIDS, and autism.

Buoyed by the approval, the group has decided to immediately start the research and development efforts in Nevada. It intends to harvest two crops in 2018.

Cannabis Science Consortium to Focus on Developing Drugs to Treat Critical Ailments

The main aim of the R&D efforts is to provide hands-on training to the professionals of the university to develop pharmaceutical drugs for the treatment of critical ailments including autism, arthritis, cancer, chronic pain, Epilepsy, and PTSD. The group will also focus on other products like clothing, construction, alternative biofuels, and automobile materials.

The American State University is aiming to provide quality and affordable education to the students to accomplish their desired goals. They will collect the data through R&D and formulate drugs for the treatment of critical ailments. Other objectives of the R&D is to provide whole distribution to the licensed manufacturers and physicians.

Creation of More Jobs

The Lincoln County Economic Development Plan and Industrial Hemp Research is given the task to generate new jobs.  Cannabis Science Inc has already created many jobs across the nation. The alliance with the University will create more jobs through the R&D program.

The group aims to provide more jobs through the development of health-care infrastructure, industrial hemp industry, waste management, communications, technology, and housing.

Cannabis Science Inc has initiated an Industrial Hemp Research Project in 2017 in San Joaquin County.  The 26 acre project is part of the efforts of creating more jobs, promoting education and drug development.

Cannabis Science Inc Signs Collaborative Accord to Strengthen economic and healthcare infrastructure  in Africa

Cannabis Science Inc has signed a collaborative accord with Elpasso Farms, American States University, Global Health Catalyst of Harvard Medical School for development initiatives in Africa.

The consortium will build PAACU (Pan African Agriculture and Commerce University) to focus on food security, agriculture and access to the healthcare in Africa.

Publication of CBD research on CIPN in Molecular Sciences Journal

Last week Medical Marijuana announced that its portfolio company Kannalife Inc. (OTCMKTS: KLFE) had published its findings on Chemotherapy-Induced Peripheral Neuropathy in the Molecular Neuroscience Journal.  Market Study Report LLC has indicated that the international market for CIPN treatment is expected to exceed $1.88 billion by 2024. Kannalife expects clinical trials for its CBD-like molecule KLS-13019 as a therapeutic treatment for CIPN to commence in the second quarter of 2020.

Medical Marijuana CEO Stuart Titus said that CIPN affects around 30% to 405 of patients undergoing chemotherapy adding that they were pleased to support Kannalife in its research to discover a treatment alternative for such patients.

Kannalife was funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse to work on the research. The grant permits the research in the development of KLS-13019 in CIPN and drug dependence. Kannalife has the obligation to study important advancements that involve identification of the mechanisms that bring CIPN and the application o0f study results in designing on novel treatment approaches for neuropathic pain and use of the approaches in reducing opioid prescription and opioid abuse.
