GrowGeneration Corp (NASDAQ:GRWG) reported revenues of $193 million (up 142.15% YoY) in 2020. Its adjusted EBITDA rose by 262% to $19.2 million in 2020.
Guidance for 2021
GrowGeneration expects to post revenues of $88 million in Q1 2021 and $430 million for the full financial year.
CEO of GrowGeneration, Darren Lampert, said 2020 is a transformational year for GrowGeneration. In the same-store sales, it achieved a growth of 63% in 2020. He said its focus on strategic and rapid growth in important markets through organic and acquisitions helped the company post record revenues.
GrowGeneration increased hydroponic garden centers to 52 across the state by adding 12 new locations. It achieved a growth of 183% and more than 123% in commercial and e-commerce channels.
The company took over a B2B portal for commercial growers – Agron.io. GrowGeneration will optimize its operations with an online ordering system in real-time.
Lower operational spending boosts growth
Darren said the company achieved significant growth in 2020 by downsizing operational spending, scaling up its business, and integrating the acquired operations. The company expects to improve its garden centers to more than 60 and 15 states this year and grow the gardens count to more than 100 by next year.
GrowGeneration generated a capital of $162.5 million through an underwritten public offering of 5.75 million on December 11, 2020.

Inducts a new CFO
GrowGeneration inducted Jeffrey Lasher as new CFO with effect from April 15, 2021. It is on the backdrop of the retirement of Monty Lamirato in Q1 2021.
In his previous stints, Jeffrey played a vital role in developing teams, scaling up businesses, and collaborated across the big firms. He is also instrumental in improving Crocs’ revenues to $1.2 billion in 2014 from $700 million in 2009 during his tenure.
Darren said the experience of Jeffrey is vital because GrowGeneration plans to scale up its business. Jeffrey is an asset to the company with several years of experience in omnichannel and multi-store operations.
