The consortium consisting of Cannabis Science Inc (OTCMKTS:CBIS), HRM Farms and FSO NAC, and American State University has obtained permission from the Department of Agriculture in Nevada for its industrial hemp research project based in Nevada. The 40 acre R&D project, which is based in Lincoln County, Nevada, will focus on arthritis, chronic pain, PTSD, cancer, epilepsy, Parkinson’s disease, HIV/ AIDS, and autism.
Buoyed by the approval, the group has decided to immediately start the research and development efforts in Nevada. It intends to harvest two crops in 2018.
