We are proud to have successfully leveraged this first mover advantage to obtain two new retail permits and expand our presence in Orange County.” Terra Tech has plans to convert its first retail dispensary spread across 44,000 square foot on the Dyer Road into a completely vertical cannabis complex. Terra Tech purchased the facility at the start of the year with the view to expand its presence in and around Southern California.
Now that the company has received the permit, it will utilize this opportunity for acquiring permits from the City of Santa Ana for cultivating, manufacturing and distributing cannabis on the site. Terra Tech intends to develop this property on Dyer Road. Apart from operating as a retail dispensary, the company also is planning to increase its size beyond 50,000 square feet so that it can be transformed into a cannabis complex.
The site will also dedicate a small space to event facility so that cannabis theme-based events including movie nights and concerts could be hosted on a large scale. The Dyer Road site is in the neighborhood of 55 Freeway and has a direct entry route to the marketplace of Southern California. It will help Terra Tech to reach the area with heavy traffic and high population density easily.
