Aurora Cannabis Inc (OTCMKTS:ACBFF) has signed a strategic alliance with Evio Beauty Group. As per the terms of the deal, Aurora Cannabis will invest in Evio. Both the firms will jointly develop hemp seed oil based cosmetic products and CBD infused products.

Aurora Cannabis Inc has announced the signing of an accord with Wagner Dimas Inc to commercialize the latter’s technology. The deal includes issuing Aurora Shares and cash subject to accomplishing certain milestones and will be closed in next twenty one days. The technology of Wagner is targeted at a higher margin and high volume pre-rolled segment in the cannabis market.

As per the terms of the deal, Wagner and Aurora Cannabis will form a new JV in Canada. Wagner will assign IP (Intellectual Property) to the new Canada based entity whereas Aurora Cannabis will have exclusive rights.

The pre-roll segment is expected to generate excellent revenues. It has accounted for 12% of the overall revenues generated in the year 2017. The pre-rolls production of Wagner is estimated at more than five million in the year 2017.

With the establishment of a new entity, the company is aiming to produce more than fifty million pre-rolls for the Californian market in 2018. The utilization of Wagner technology will help to produce 75 different types of pre-rolls.
